Updated Residential Trash Pickup Schedule for the Week of Christmas

The City of Sedalia’s Public Works Operations Department is announcing an updated residential trash pickup schedule for Christmas week. This schedule differs from what was originally published on the annual calendar and flyers.

To make sure all households receive service before the Christmas holiday, our Sanitation crew will be working three twelve-hour shifts on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, December 22 through December 24. Public Works crews will be off Thursday, December 25 and Friday, December 26.

Because of this adjustment, routes will be picked up earlier than normal:

• Tuesday routes will be picked up on Monday, December 22
• Wednesday routes will be picked up on Tuesday, December 23
• Thursday and Friday routes will be picked up on Wednesday, December 24

Residents should place their carts at the curb by 6:00 a.m. on their updated pickup day.
