Places of Interest
Sedalia has several places of interest. Fairs, farms, water, and air are all represented by the sites below.
Bothwell Lodge
Come take a tour and soak in the history of this 31-room, 12,000 sq. ft. masterpiece. Built in the early 20th century for and by lawyer John Homer Bothwell, the site also includes a three-mile hiking/biking trail.
Sedalia Area Farmers' Market
Open twice a week from early May through late October. The site shows vendors, hours, food facts, and even recipes!
Missouri State Fair
There is truly something for everyone! Come experience Missouri's largest agriculture expo and be part of the annual pageantry right here in Sedalia.
Missouri State Fairgrounds
Buildings throughout the 400-acre fairgrounds are available for rent year-round. No matter the size of your event, they have you covered.
Sedalia Katy Depot
This is more than just a historic train depot. It also serves as a gift shop and headquarters for both the Sedalia Chamber of Commerce and the Sedalia Convention & Visitors Bureau.
Springfork Lake
Located just south and east of Sedalia, Springfork Lake offers a boat ramp, restrooms, and a floating fishing dock.
