Parks & Recreation
The Sedalia Parks & Recreation Department adds to the health of Sedalia by providing and maintaining facilities used for recreation and leisure. The Sedalia Parks & Recreation Department oversees over 300 acres of parkland and maintains 7 parks: Liberty, Centennial, Clover Dell, Hubbard, Housel, Katy, and Vermont. A wide variety of sports, recreational activities, lessons, and special events are available for all area citizens.
If you would like to get involved, volunteer opportunities exist to work in the Community Garden.
