TRASH CART MAINTENANCE AND INVENTORY

Throughout the month of October, the City of Sedalia’s Sanitation Department will be conducting a citywide maintenance and inventory check of all residential trash carts.
Residents are asked to:
- Place trash carts at the curb, and
- Leave them out until City crews have completed their inspection.
During this time, crews will be performing maintenance, verifying serial numbers, and ensuring carts are in proper working condition.
This process helps extend the lifespan of the City’s trash carts, ensures accurate records, and keeps service running smoothly for all customers.
