South Washington Avenue Resurfacing — S. Washington Ave. from E. Main St. to E. Third St. — Wednesday, June 3, 2026 to Thursday, June 4, 2026

Beginning on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, and continuing through Thursday, June 4, 2026, the City of Sedalia’s Public Works Operations Division will be milling and overlaying S. Washington Avenue from E. Main Street to E. Third Street. During this period, road construction will result in the roadway being closed to through traffic. Residents living along this roadway will need to coordinate with City Crews on site should they need access to their driveways. Mill and overlay work will begin each day at 6:00 a.m. and continue through 4:00 p.m. Heavy equipment and workers will be present in the roadway during this period. Inclement weather or equipment breakdowns could delay completion.
