City of Sedalia Trash Cart Swap-Outs Begin in October

Much like the City’s Clean Sweep program, Sedalia will begin rolling out new trash carts in a staggered schedule by neighborhood between October and December.

New rates take effect October 1, 2025.

• If you’ve already registered for a different cart size, your new cart will be delivered and swapped in during your neighborhood’s scheduled time-frame.
• If you do not wish to change services, there’s nothing you need to do. Your current cart will remain, and your bill will automatically adjust to the new rates.
