Sedalia Area Farmers’ Market Moves Downtown with Live Music During State Fair

The Sedalia Area Farmers’ Market (SAFM) is temporarily relocating to historic downtown Sedalia during the Missouri State Fair!

For a limited time, the market will be held outside Ozark Coffee Company on Ohio Avenue, between 6th and 7th Streets. Join us on Friday, August 8, Tuesday, August 12, and Friday, August 15, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. to shop local and support our vendors.

Market Manager Rachel Michael shares, “We’ll have the freshest local produce, meats, eggs, baked goods, and more. With plenty of parking and easy access, we hope our regular customers, along with fair-goers and visitors, will come out and enjoy everything our market has to offer.”

Enjoy live music performances from talented local guitarists and vocalists as you shop!

The market accepts cash, debit, credit, and SNAP/EBT. Plus, SAFM offers matching SNAP/EBT dollars — each transaction is matched up to $25 per visit, available through August 31. Visit the green market tent for details.

On Friday, August 22, the market will return to the Missouri State Fairgrounds in the Nucor Pavilion and will be open Fridays only through October 31.

Don’t miss out on the fun — see you downtown!
