Lane Closure: Paving Operations — E. 5th Street from S. Lafayette Avenue to S. Hancock Avenue — Wednesday, October 28, 2026 and Thursday, October 29, 2026

Beginning on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. and continuing until Thursday, October 29, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. the City of Sedalia’s Public Works Operations Division will begin paving operations on E. 5th Street from S. Lafayette Avenue to S. Hancock Avenue. During this period, road construction will result in the roadway being restricted to one lane of traffic. Residents living along this roadway will need to coordinate with City Crews on site should they need access to their driveways. Heavy equipment and workers will be present in the roadway during this period. Inclement weather or equipment breakdowns could delay completion.
