S. Hancock Ave. Resurfacing — S. Hancock Ave. from E. 16th St. to E. 19th St. Mill and Overlay to Begin Wednesday, May 6, 2026 through Thursday, May 7, 2026

Beginning on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, and continuing through Thursday, May 7, 2026, the City of Sedalia’s Public Works Operations Division will be milling and overlaying S. Hancock Ave. from E. 16th St. to E. 19th St. During this period, road construction will result in the roadway being closed to through traffic. Residents living along this roadway will need to coordinate with City Crews on site should they need access to their driveways. Mill and overlay work will begin each day at 6:00 a.m. and continue through 4:00 p.m. Heavy equipment and workers will be present in the roadway during this period. Inclement weather or equipment breakdowns could delay completion.
