Emergency Road Closure — W. 16th Street from S. Carr Avenue to S. Park Avenue — Monday, November 2, 2026

An outside contractor struck the main and water service has been interrupted on S. Sneed Avenue from W. 16th Street to W. 20th Street and on W. 16th Street from S. Barrett Avenue to S. Park Avenue. This has resulted in an emergency closure of W. 16th Street from S. Carr Avenue to S. Park Avenue. Heavy equipment and workers will be present in the roadway. Travelers in the area are advised to find an alternate route to their destination.
