City of Sedalia to Continue Milling and Overlay Projects

Beginning on Monday, June 8, 2026, and continuing through Friday, June 19, 2026, the City of Sedalia’s Public Works Operation Division will be milling and overlaying the following streets:

East 13th Street from New York Ave. to Hancock Ave.
East 14th Street from South Engineer to South Hancock
East 10th Street from South Ingram to South Massachusetts
South Massachusetts from East 5th Street to East Broadway Blvd.
South Washington Ave. from 3rd Street to 5th Street
Public parking lot North Ohio and St. Louis Street

During this period, road construction will result in the roadway being closed to through traffic.  Residents living along with roadway will need to coordinate with City Crews on site should they need access to their driveways.  Mill and overlay work will begin each day at 6:00 a.m. and continue until 4:00 p.m.  Heavy equipment and workers will be present in the roadway during this period.  Inclement weather or equipment breakdowns could delay completion.
