Municipal Court

The Sedalia Municipal Docket addresses the ordinance violation cases that occur within the city.

Effective January 1, 2021, all city municipal violation cases will be heard by the Pettis County Circuit Court.

Due to limited courtroom availability and the current need for social distancing, these cases will initially be heard on the 2nd and 4th Mondays of each month in the large courtroom on the third floor of the Pettis County courthouse with cases scheduled in this matter:

Technical Assistance

The court clerks are not able to give technical assistance regarding access to, or use of  Each litigant must find his/her own technical assistance or call to schedule an in-person appearance.  If a person attempts to attend by video conference and is unable to connect for whatever reason she/he should call the court immediately.  The judge will be notified and a continuance will be granted.
