The City of Sedalia is seeking proposals for upgrading the supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) system used as part of the City’s water filtration processing and distribution.

Details
Specifically, the work accomplished under this RFP will consist of purchasing, programming and installing equipment necessary to provide a complete automatic control and monitoring system. The proposed system will need to be a completely integrated all solid-state radio telemetry based Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system. The SCADA Contractor’s responsibility will be to provide a system that is compatible with existing equipment or replace the existing system with all new components. The complete system shall be designed, fabricated, programmed, tested, started, and warrantied by a single Contractor to insure a single source of responsibility.
The project will include, at a minimum, the following in relation to the Water Filtration Plant’s SCADA and Instrumentation System:
- Updating the existing M655 PLC with new IO cards in the Main Water Filtration Plant PLC.
- Updating the existing M655 PLC with new IO cards in the two (2) Water Filtration Plant Filter Control Consoles.
- Programming changes, updating and replacement as required of the two (2) HMI Operator Display Consoles running existing SCADA view CSX HMI software. Configure existing software for a ClientServer operation with hot-standby architecture. Each HMI shall be configured with local historian packages to support ALL system I/O points and ALL system tags.
This project requires compliance with Section 285.530 RSMo in relation to employment of unauthorized aliens to perform work within the state of Missouri and the requirement for participation in a federal work authorization program (E-verify).
