Beginning at 10:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, and continuing until 8:00 a.m. on Friday, October 9, 2026, E. 16th Street will close from S. Ohio Avenue to S. Washington Avenue nightly. Heavy equipment and workers will be in the area working on a stormwater improvement project. Travelers in the area are advised to find an alternate route to their destination. This work is weather dependent and inclement weather may result in the work being rescheduled to a later date.
