East 16th Street Resurfacing — E. 16th Street from S. Arlington Avenue to S. Marshall Avenue — Mill & Overlay to Begin Wednesday, September 9, 2026 through Thursday, September 10, 2026

Beginning on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, and continuing through Thursday, September 10, 2026, the City of Sedalia’s Public Works Operations Division will be milling and overlaying E. 16th Street from S. Arlington Avenue to S. Marshall Avenue. During this period, road construction will result in the roadway being restricted to one lane of traffic. Residents living along this roadway will need to coordinate with City Crews on site should they need access to their driveways. Mill and overlay work will begin each day at 6:00 a.m. and continue through 4:00 p.m. Heavy equipment and workers will be present in the roadway during this period. Inclement weather or equipment breakdowns could delay completion.
