Road Closure — E. 5th Street Between S. Thompson Avenue & S. Hancock Avenue — Storm Water Installation & Fire Station Approach Project — Tuesday, August 11, 2026 through Thursday, August 13, 2026

E. 5th Street between S. Thompson Avenue and S. Hancock Avenue will be closed to through traffic from 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. each day beginning on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, through Thursday, August 13, 2026. The Contractor, Napholz, will be working in the roadway to install storm water infrastructure and an approach for the new fire station. Travelers in the area are advised to find an alternate route to their destination. This work is weather dependent and inclement weather or equipment breakdowns could delay completion.
