Intersection Reopening and Delay of Water Service Interruption: 32nd St. at S. Grand Ave. Monday, April 6, 2026

Today while excavating in the area, the Contractor encountered buried water pipes that were a larger size than what was indicated on the historical infrastructure data. This will cause a two-week delay in the project to get the correct pipe and fittings. The excavated area will be backfilled, and the intersection will be reopened by 7:00 p.m., Monday, April 6, 2026. There will no longer be an interruption of water service in the area on Tuesday, April 7, 2026. We will release the updated schedule for the intersection to re-close and the water service interruption as soon as the information become available. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
