Pet Licenses Renewal

It’s almost time to renew your pet’s license for the new year. Current tags expire on December 31, 2025, and licenses should be renewed by January 31, 2026 to avoid a penalty.

Annual license fees:

• Spayed or neutered pets: $5 per pet, per year
• Not spayed or neutered: $25 per pet, per year
• Limit of three pets per household

To renew, stop by the City of Sedalia Finance Department inside the Municipal Building and bring:

• A current rabies vaccination certificate
• Proof of spay or neuter, if applicable
