Join the Sedalia Historic Preservation Commission in activities that celebrate our rich community history during the month of May 2022.
Architectural Scavenger Hunt: We're hunting for architectural clues around Sedalia during the weeks of May 2nd, May 9th, May 16th, and May 23, 2022. Each Monday, 5 clues will be listed on the City of Sedalia's Facebook page. Test your all-about-Sedalia knowledge by finding each item, snapping a picture and sending your pictures to jcornine@sedalia.com. At the end of each week, a winner will be drawn for a $50 gift certificate from one of our local businesses! That's four chances to win a prize during the month of May.
Downtown Sedalia Apartment/Loft Tours: Ever wondered what it would be like to live downtown? On Saturday, May 21, 2022 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., you will have a chance to explore five different apartments/lofts in downtown Sedalia free of charge while meeting the owners of the buildings. Thank you to our building owners for participating in these tours:

Learn why more and more people are attracted to our buildings' history while investing in our district's future. We'd also like to give a "pre-thank you" to our partners, the Pettis County Historical Society, for helping us host this event!
