The City of Sedalia will be submitting an application no later than April 3, 2021 to obtain coverage under the Missouri Department of Natural Resources (MDNR) General Permit MOR040000 for municipal separate storm sewer systems (MS4). This will be an extension of the City's current stormwater quality program regulated under MDNR’s Phase II Stormwater Permit program a part of the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES).
The City's application and a copy of the draft 2021-2026 Stormwater Management Plan (SWMP) may be viewed on the City’s website at http://www.ci.sedalia.mo.us/content/11298/11388/11505.aspx ; at the Sedalia Public Library at 311 W. Third St., Sedalia, MO 65301; or at the Public Works Department at the Municipal Building, 200 S. Osage Ave., Sedalia, MO 65301 beginning on Thursday, Feb. 25, 2021.
A public hearing on the proposed permit application and the draft Stormwater Management Plan will be held on Monday, March 29, 2021, at 6:00 p.m., at the Municipal Building, Council Chambers at 200 S. Osage Ave., Sedalia, MO 65301. Written Public Comments may also be directed to Brenda Ardrey, Public Works Director by e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org ,via U.S. Postal Service mail or by hand delivery to 200 S. Osage Ave., Sedalia, MO 65301.
