City Council Agenda Packets & Minutes
The Sedalia City Council is the legislative and policy-making body of the city. The Council sets city policy by passing ordinances and resolutions. The Council approves the city budget, appoints and supervises the City Administrator, confirms Mayoral nominations to the various city Boards & Commissions, and generally oversees city functions. Additionally, the Council approves city development and takes action on recommendations from the Citizen's Traffic Advisory Commission and the Planning & Zoning Board.
The Sedalia City Council meets on the first and third Mondays of the month at 6:30 p.m. in the Municipal Building's Council Chambers, 200 S. Osage Avenue, Sedalia, Missouri. Since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, the City has made Council meetings available for live-stream public viewing through GoToMeeting. Recordings of these meetings are available through the City's YouTube Channel.
